The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE begins to receive the April 2022 Android update

The April 2022 security patch is now rolling out to Samsung Galaxy S20 FEs in Australia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam.

For some time now, Samsung has become one of the first manufacturers to update its terminals to both the new versions of Android and the most recent security patches, bringing all these new features to all its ranges of mobile devices.

A good proof of this is that, at the beginning of the month, Samsung already updated its new flagship, the Galaxy S22, with the most recent security patch and now we have just learned that the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is already receiving the April Android update from 2022.

As Android Authority has anticipated, Samsung has started updating its affordable high-end smartphone of 2021, the Galaxy S20 FE, with the latest Android security patch in some regions such as Australia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam, although it is most likely it will reach other regions very soon, including Spain.

This new update reaches the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE with firmware version G780GXXS3CVC4 and includes the April 2022 security patch, which corrects more than 80 vulnerabilities related to privacy and security and improves the stability and fluidity of the devices.

If you are a user of a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE in one of the countries indicated above and you want to check if this update is already available, you simply have to access the Settings of your terminal and click on the Software update option.

If you already have it available, all you have to do is click on the Download and install button to update your smartphone with the most recent security patch for Android.
