Details are currently still rare. What Samsung has changed in detail is currently not known – the detailed release notes are still missing. In the release notes of the November patch for the S10, it only says “Improved WLAN and camera stability” and “the security of your device has been improved”, according to Sammobile. The entire Samsung Galaxy S10 family, including the Note 10, is now being addressed with the update for the S20. There are hardly any details here either. The entire Samsung Galaxy S20 family is addressed. The firmware version has the version number G98xxXXS5BTJ4, the distribution started at the start of the week. Sammobile suspects that there are currently no changes apart from the security updates.
The update starts in Europe
The update is currently being rolled out in several European countries, including Germany. The distribution is staggered, which means that the update will only gradually be available to all users. The new update is available for the different device variants (updates for Samsung Galaxy S20, S20 Plus and S20 Ultra).
Owners of a Samsung Galaxy S20 are waiting for the Android 11 update. Samsung has just confirmed the start of the distribution – the update should start in November. Previously, the rumour had said that the start was delayed due to the corona pandemic. It’s getting colourful: Samsung Galaxy S20 FE The Koreans have recently become much faster and, above all, more regular with the software updates. Users can be pleased that they receive security patches more quickly, but general improvements directly from Samsung are also being made more frequently.
