Samsung Android 15 One UI 7 Update
Attention Samsung enthusiasts! Android 15 is expected to arrive on Samsung devices later this year, but there’s already buzz around the One UI 7.0 update. Google may release Stable Android 15 in August, with Samsung likely announcing the One UI 7 Beta in the same month.
Samsung is currently developing the Android 15 One UI 7.0 update. The Galaxy S24 series will be the first to receive it on both Beta and Stable channels. However, numerous Galaxy devices will be eligible for this significant update, leading to a substantial rollout later this year.
Android 15
The new OS began its Developer Preview in February and Public Beta in April. So far, Google has released three major Public Beta updates for Pixel devices. The fourth Beta build is expected in the coming days, with the Public rollout anticipated in August.
Android 15 aims to enhance device performance and power efficiency. It’s also optimized for the artificial intelligence era. Users can expect faster app loading, extended battery life, improved security and privacy, and core enhancements at the OS level.
One UI 7
Samsung might launch the One UI 7 Beta Program in August this year. Last year, the company released the first Beta for the Galaxy S23 series in August 2023. We anticipate a similar timeline for this year’s Beta activity, with the first batch likely focused on the Galaxy S24 lineup.
Beyond flagship models, Samsung may extend the Beta trial to select mid-range phones. Galaxy A55, Galaxy A35, and some Galaxy M series phones may also qualify. As usual, the One UI 7 Beta should be available in at least seven countries, including the US.
One UI 7.0
Samsung plans to hold its Developer Conference this year on October 3. The event will serve as a platform to introduce new One UI 7 features and enhancements. Additionally, updates for One UI 6 Watch and Tizen OS for TVs may also be unveiled by the Korean tech giant.
You can install the One UI Beta build on your primary device, but it’s generally recommended to avoid it. If you want to steer clear of bugs and functional issues, Beta testing may not be for you. Consider waiting for the Stable rollout, as Samsung will also introduce new features with One UI 6.1.1.
