The US dollar depreciated further against the Pakistani rupee. On the last day of the business week, the US dollar fell by 51 paise to close at Rs 284.40 on the inter-bank exchange.
The US dollar closed at Rs 284.91 in the interbank yesterday, while the dollar fell by Rs 2 to Rs 290 in the open market.
On April 11, the interbank dollar increased by 3 rupees 79 paise from the closing price of the previous week and reached the highest level of 288 rupees 43 paise, but ended the business week with a decrease of 24 paise
