News about the OnePlus 10 series has been coming for a long time. The tech industry has already speculated from the launch of this series to the features. Now an official confirmation has come from OnePlus, which is being linked to the OnePlus 10 series. OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has confirmed that the company’s next-generation devices will be powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Although Pete Lau did not mention the OnePlus 10 series in his post, it can be assumed that the company’s upcoming series will be equipped with Snapdragon’s flagship processor.
Pete Lau said that OnePlus’ software and hardware development resources are focused on optimizing the Snapdragon processor. This should result in a more optimized software experience.
Unlike the OnePlus series that came before, the OnePlus 10 series phones can be launched in the Chinese market in January. Talking about the specs, then a 6.7-inch curved Quad HD + AMOLED display can be given in the OnePlus 10 Pro. The display is expected to get a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch hole on the left side. With Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, the device can support up to 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.
Hasselblad branding triple camera setup can be found in the OnePlus 10 Pro. It can be given a 48-megapixel wide sensor, 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and 8-megapixel telephoto lens.
It is speculated that there could be some major changes in the design of the upcoming devices as the size of the rear camera module will change. The rear cameras can be fitted in a squarish module on the left side.
